2016 – james donovan art

2016 was a relatively fallow year for me. A job at a new school meant taking responsibility for a new Art department and all of the organisation that it entails. Having said that, it gave me time to consider new ideas and a return to linocutting, something that I find very satisfying. An exhibition at Kooywood Gallery scheduled for early February 2017 gave me the focus that I needed to end the year on a creative high.
